Esta série ilustra os rituais humilhantes a que as mulheres estão sujeitas como processo social de purificação, a fim de serem consideradas 'limpas e puras' o suficiente para juntarem-se aos homens.

Through out modern history, the male driven Patriarchal society has consistently controlled women and regarded them as lower-class people, and at times even less than human.

This series speaks to the demeaning rituals women are subjected to, in the societal process of cleansing in order for them to be considered ‘clean and pure’ enough to join with men.
